Our Mission

" To enhance respect, protection, value and effective support of activities of indigenous women through strengthening their sense of rights, laws, and ownership over land, natural resource management, economic development and traditional culture and identity conservation."

Who Are We

We are the first indigenous women association established by the indigenous women from various ethnic background to serve and address the collective issues and challenges of the indigenous women themselves. CIWA is an indigenous women network that a variety of members from grassroots, national and international levels. It is an indigenous women network which comprised of strong and committed indigenous women leaders and activists whom have solid experience and skills on matter related to indigenous peoples, indigenous women in particular.

She also emphasizes the urgent need for greater market opportunities to sell their products and promote their traditional craftsmanship.
